12x 2.5G Ports with 100 Gb/s Switching

Twelve 2.5G multi-gigabit Ethernet ports deliver up to 2.5x the throughput of standard Gigabit connections, supporting high-bandwidth AV codecs and aggregated device streams without bottlenecks. Two 1G SFP uplink slots provide fiber connectivity to upstream switches or distribution infrastructure, backed by a 100 Gb/s switching bandwidth and 74.4 Mpps forwarding rate. With a 16 Mb packet buffer and 16K MAC address table, the switch handles dense, concurrent AV streams reliably.

Pre-Configured for AV over IP

Built-in Netgear IGMP Plus™ is set from the factory to ensure out-of-the-box multicast functionality for most AV over IP installations with little to no additional configuration. The dedicated AV web-based GUI permits factory or user-specified profiles to be assigned to individual ports as needed, using a color-coded interface designed specifically for AV professionals. Video profiles for NVX, SVSI, Q-SYS, and Dante can be assigned to ports quickly, and audio profiles for Dante and AES67 are available out of the box. AVB support is enabled via firmware update for deployments requiring very low latency.

Layer 2/3 Switching and Network Features

Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching supports static routing, RIP, PIM, and PTPv2 alongside DHCP Server and IGMP Snooping, giving integrators the flexibility to handle a wide range of AV networking scenarios. Management is available via the AV web GUI, IT web GUI, console, Telnet, and SSH for comprehensive control options.

Versatile Mounting Options

The slim 1U chassis (17.3 x 3.9 x 1.7" / 439.4 x 99.1 x 43.2 mm, 3.85 lb) includes standard and recessed rack-mounting brackets for traditional rack installation. Threaded mounting holes sized to industry standards are built into the chassis, enabling mounting directly behind a display or clamping to a truss — a practical feature for touring and installation AV applications. Rubber footpads are included for tabletop use. The adjustable fan can be disabled under certain conditions for noise-sensitive environments.
