Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 Switcher

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 Switcher is an 8-input live production switcher with an integrated control panel and advanced broadcast features. Designed for live streaming, recording, and professional multi-camera workflows, it allows program output as a USB webcam and supports high-quality streaming via RTMP protocols. New enhancements include a redesigned keyboard, multiple knob controls, large NKK source select buttons, a hardware fader, CFexpress recording, Thunvb     derbolt connectivity, and an optimized button layout for faster operation.

Updated Control Interface

The G2 features large source select buttons for audio, recording, and streaming control. Output selection buttons allow quick switching between cameras, program, and multiview. A hardware fader provides tactile control. Connectivity options include HDMI for cameras or computers, XLR and MADI audio inputs, USB for webcam output, Thunderbolt for recording/playback, and four HDMI outputs for program/preview video. Use Ethernet or USB-C for streaming or webcam integration with software like Zoom, Teams, Skype, OBS, and more.

M/E Switcher

Switch, add effects, color grade, and key in real time using the control surface or software panel. CCU functions allow control of Blackmagic Studio and URSA cameras. The switcher supports nine layers, four upstream and two downstream keyers, up to four chroma keyers, two DVE with borders/drop shadow, pattern and color generators, and up to 16-screen multiview via HDMI outputs.

ISO Output

Record each input independently as MP4, along with program output, using USB-C ports. A DaVinci Resolve project file is generated automatically for editing. The eight HDMI inputs accept HD signals up to 1080p60, with discrete frame rate and format converters and re-syncing for seamless switching between cameras, consoles, and computer feeds.

Thunderbolt for Live Replay

Thunderbolt enables fill and key playback, CFexpress access, Ethernet connectivity, and trickle power via a single connection. Integrate with DaVinci Resolve for live replay, selecting ISO files and prerolling multiple camera angles for broadcast-style replay production.

Stream Live

Built-in hardware streaming engine supports direct streaming over Ethernet to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Connect multiple cameras for interviews, wide shots, or studio work. The small form factor allows use in compact studios while maintaining full production capabilities.

4G and 5G Phone Support

Use mobile devices as backup internet connections. The switcher can automatically switch to phone data and provide power to keep the device charged during live events.

Media Pool

Record multiple streams, clean feeds, and program output simultaneously. Metadata includes synced timecode and camera numbers. Edit live productions in post, adjusting color, effects, and graphics, while remixing audio from all sources.

Compatibility

Compatible with ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel, ATEM Streaming Bridge, and ATEM Camera Control Panel. Configurable via Videohub Hardware Panel Setup, Smart Control Pro, and Master Control Pro for routing sources to destinations.

Recording

Directly record streams to USB flash drives or CFexpress cards. Supports recording to multiple disks for continuous capture. Manage settings and disk selection via ATEM Software Control, and remotely trigger recording on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras.

Software Integration

DaVinci Resolve project files are automatically saved for easy editing. Use ATEM Software Control to access audio mixing, load stills, save switcher states, program macros, and control HyperDeck disk recorders.

Video Effects

Access built-in professional effects such as cut, auto, mix, dip, and DVE transitions. Customize durations from 0.5 to 2 seconds. Apply dynamic DVE effects for creative live production transitions.

Audio Features

Two XLR inputs for microphones or audio devices, plus two stereo inputs for additional channels. Integrates Fairlight audio mixer, allowing live adjustment of all HDMI and microphone sources. Includes headphone output for monitoring.

Format Conversion

Dedicated HDMI input converters automatically match 1080p, 1080i, and 720p sources to the switcher format. Direct low-latency loops and "aux" HDMI outputs allow for clean switching and multiview monitoring of inputs, program, preview, and streaming status.
